Job Title:
Fieldwork Assistant.
Reports to:
Senior Fieldwork Manager/Fieldwork Director.
Working Hours:
Full time (flexible working hours requests will be considered in line with government regulations).
Location:
99% remote working from anywhere in the UK, with quarterly team days and events predominantly in the Welsh Borders, London and in other UK locations. Will involve some travel with notice provided.
Benefits:
25 days holiday per annum (excluding bank holidays). Discretionary bonuses (dependent on company and individual performances). NEST Pension (5% employee and 3% employer contributions).
FieldMouse is looking for a new Fieldwork Assistant to join our busy and fast-growing team.
Key roles and responsibilities with skills required
Recruit and screen participants for research studies-someone who not afraid to pick up the phone and speak to anyone.
Schedule and manage participant appointments.
Maintain accurate records of participant data and responses.
Ensure compliance with MRS code of conduct.
Provide support to the FieldMouse team as needed.
Communicate effectively with participants and team members.
Some evening work may be required, for example to support participants in joining an online focus group.

Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records (E).
Willingness to learn (E).
Ability to work independently and as part of a team (E).
Ability to work remotely with minimal supervision (E).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (E).

The Role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Fieldwork Assistant to join our dynamic team. The Fieldwork Assistant will play a crucial role in supporting our fieldwork management team by carrying out participant screening. This will include but will not be limited to, telephone interviewing, scheduling fieldwork, understanding recruitment briefs, data analysis, and data entry.
This is a full-time role (5 days/35 hours per week, excluding lunch) however for the right candidate we can be flexible and offer a four-day week/28 hours per week – we are open to discussing any other arrangements. We support our employees with their work life balance.
